Did you know that International Yoga Day was officially established by the United Nations in 2014 ā thanks to a proposal from Indiaās Prime Minister? š Itās celebrated every year on June 21st, symbolising light, clarity, and the journey toward inner balance.

Whatās it all about?
Itās not just about touching your toes or headstands (though those are fun, especially with our Feet Up gadget š). Itās a global celebration of yogaās power to bring peace, strength, joy, and unity ā across cultures, bodies, and hearts. š
Fun yoga facts!
š§āāļø The word yoga means āto yokeā or unite ā mind, body, spirit.
š§āāļø There are more than 100 styles of yoga ā from calm and stretchy to sweaty and strong!
š§āāļø Even goats and dogs have yoga classes now
š§āāļø Over 300 million people practice yoga worldwide ā and growing!
š§āāļø Yoga is for every body, every age, and every mood. No flexibility required ā just a willing heart.
As a yoga teacher, I feel so lucky to share the magic of:
š Gentle YogaĀ ā soft, mindful movement to meet you where you are
šæ FlowĀ Yoga ā gentle, yet energising movements to awaken and empower
š§āāļø Yin YogaĀ ā slow, grounding stillness and deep release
ā” Kundalini YogaĀ ā powerful kriyas, breath-work & inner awakening
Today, Iām extra grateful for this path ā for all the moments on (and off) the mat that have brought stillness, strength, healing, and so much love. š
Tell me ā how has yoga changed your life?
