Balancing the Subtle Energy Centres video series

As part of our Monday evenings Short & Sweet Yoga practices we have just finished the Balancing the Subtle Energy Centres series - the Chakra series.


What is a Chakra? Chakras are subtle energy centers in the body. We identify 7 major Chakras in the yogic system. These seven are the Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, 3rd Eye and Crown Chakras.

Each Chakra is responsible for the functioning of certain organs, glands, emotions, thoughts. They are connected to subtle sounds, Mantras, colors, physical points in the body. When we have an imbalance in our life, let it be physical, emotional or mental it is useful to know which Chakra it is connected to, as we can take steps to bring ourselves back to balance.

1, Root Energy Centre, the 1st Chakra, is our connection to the material world. Our ability to feel supported, grounded, nourished and stable. If you find any of these aspects challenging practice this 36 minutes sequence.​



2, Sacral Energy Centre, the 2nd Chakra, is our connection to our feelings. To be in the flow. To feel sexy. To be flexible in body and mind. Finding our creativity. If you find any of these aspects challenging practice this 36 minutes sequence.



3, Navel Energy Centre, the 3rd Chakra, is our connection to our personal power. To face life's challenges with courage. To have plenty of energy. To manifest abundance. If you find any of these aspects challenging practice this 36 minutes sequence.
