Yoga during Pregnancy
Welcome to the Yoga during Pregnancy course. My name is Dora, and I am excited to be your guide during this wonderful time in your life. I have been practising yoga for 10 years, and as a mother of 3 myself, find the benefits of yoga valuable to keep myself balanced both physically, emotionally and mentally. The aim of yoga is to create union between the physical body, the mind and the breath. Attending the Yoga during Pregnancy course offers the perfect opportunity to take some time to simply focus on yourselves and your baby.
It offers a relaxing and nourishing experience, which helps in connecting with your growing baby and processing all the changes that come with the transition into motherhood.
Yoga during Pregnancy is also beneficial for relieving common pregnancy complaints such as lower back pain, pelvic pain, rib pain and heartburn.
Adding to the emotional and physical benefits, the course also provides the opportunity to meet other expectant mums from your local area, a wonderful way to make friendships even before the babies arrive.
The course is suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy. Please submit your number of weeks pregnant at the time of the beginning of the course and any contraindications you may have in the comments section in the booking form.

On arrival at your first YOGA WITH DORA yoga class I will ask you to complete a confidential health and medical registration form detailing your health issues, injuries and any medication being taken. This will allow me to give modifications in poses when required.
Yoga mats, props and blankets are provided.
