Ho'oponopono

July 28, 2017

Ho'ponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of forgiveness.

On a surface level, it is understood to be a mantra where one repeats these words as a form of mental and spiritual cleansing:

'I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you, I love you'

According to the Hawaiian view it has been defined as a forgiveness and reconciliation practice, cleansing the 'error of thought' - the origin of problems and sickness in the physical world.

It is believed that everything in our life is our responsibility, simple because it is our creation if it is in our life. If you take full responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, smell or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life.

I am not sure how it works, but it does. I find that simply chanting these words my vibration changes, bringing up stuff in my mind and as I chant the chaos in my mind is brought to stillness and calm. If you feel like giving it a try the video gives a better explanation than I did.
